Description
A festive twist on traditional Rice Krispie treats, these White Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls are perfect for any occasion and are fun to make with friends and family.
Ingredients

- 3 cups Puffed rice cereal
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp Coconut oil
- 4 tbsp Butter, unsalted
- 1 1/2 cups Mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup Nonpareils (red, green, and white)
- 2 cups White chocolate chips or white chocolate candy melts
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter and coconut oil over low heat.
- Once melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and add the vanilla extract.
- Stir in the puffed rice cereal until well coated.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then grease your hands with a bit of oil and shape the mixture into small balls.
- Roll the balls in nonpareils to coat.
- Melt the white chocolate chips or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, then dip the balls into the melted chocolate.
- Allow to set on a parchment-lined baking sheet until the chocolate hardens.
Notes
For best results, serve at room temperature or slightly chilled. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
