White Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake

Description

A creamy and rich cheesecake infused with white chocolate and peppermint. A perfect dessert for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla
  • 8 oz white chocolate bars
  • 3 cups Oreo crumbs
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 24 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups Andes peppermint chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix Oreo crumbs and melted butter; press into the bottom of the pan.
  3. Melt white chocolate in a bowl over simmering water.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in melted white chocolate, vanilla, and salt.
  6. Add sour cream and heavy cream; mix until just combined.
  7. Fold in the peppermint chips.
  8. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until the center is set.
  10. Let it cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  11. Before serving, top with whipped cream and additional peppermint chips, if desired.

Serve cold for the best flavor. Pairs well with whipped cream and berries.
