Deliciously simple treats combining peanut butter and chocolate for a delightful snack.
Ingredients

- 4 cups Rice Krispie cereal
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prepare a baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large saucepan, combine the light corn syrup, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt. Heat over medium heat until it starts to boil, then boil for about 2 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and add the creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
- Add the Rice Krispie cereal and coat well with the peanut butter mixture, then press into the baking dish.
- Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the Rice Krispie mixture, spreading it evenly.
- Let sit at room temperature for about an hour to allow the chocolate to set.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to a week. Can also be frozen for up to three months.
