Description

  • 1/2 lb Lobster meat, cooked
  • 1 1/2 cups Seafood stock
  • 1/2 lb Shrimp
  • 1 stalk Celery, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Chives or parsley, fresh, chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 small Onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Parsley, fresh, chopped
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 18 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Butter, unsalted
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, sharp, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup Whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion, celery, and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  4. Next, add the shrimp and lobster meat to the pan, cooking until just opaque.
  5. Stir in garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, pepper, and fresh herbs.
  6. Pour in the seafood stock, heavy cream, and milk, bringing to a simmer. Cook until slightly thickened.
  7. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, remaining butter, and cheddar cheese, mixing until crumbly.
  8. Slowly add the milk, stirring until a dough forms.
  9. Pour the seafood mixture into a baking dish and drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough on top.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
