- 1/2 lb Lobster meat, cooked
- 1 1/2 cups Seafood stock
- 1/2 lb Shrimp
- 1 stalk Celery, chopped
- 1 tbsp Chives or parsley, fresh, chopped
- 2 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 small Onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp Parsley, fresh, chopped
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 18 tbsp Flour
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Butter, unsalted
- 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, sharp, shredded
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 1/3 cup Whole milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion, celery, and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Next, add the shrimp and lobster meat to the pan, cooking until just opaque.
- Stir in garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, pepper, and fresh herbs.
- Pour in the seafood stock, heavy cream, and milk, bringing to a simmer. Cook until slightly thickened.
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, remaining butter, and cheddar cheese, mixing until crumbly.
- Slowly add the milk, stirring until a dough forms.
- Pour the seafood mixture into a baking dish and drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
