Hearty savory rolls filled with pork mince and caramelized onions, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pork mince
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp Fresh herbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • 2 sheets Puff pastry
  • 1 Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the pork mince, chili flakes, fresh herbs, egg, Dijon mustard, tomato ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and French onion soup mix. Mix until well combined.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into rectangles.
  4. Place a generous amount of the sausage mixture onto each pastry rectangle.
  5. Top with cheese if desired, then wrap the pastry over the filling and seal the edges.
  6. Brush the tops with milk.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These rolls can be prepped in advance and frozen if needed. Serve with dipping sauces for added flavor.
