Description

Delicious cookies combining chewy caramel bits with flaky sea salt for a perfect sweet and salty treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup Caramel bits
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Flaky sea salt
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the caramel bits and toffee bits.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top of each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve these cookies warm for a gooey treat. They pair beautifully with cold milk or ice cream.
