Description

Delicious and creamy truffles made with rich chocolate and a hint of coffee, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese or coconut butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or broken-up chocolate
  • 2 tbsp instant coffee
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar or erythritol

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese (or coconut butter) and butter until smooth.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or over a double boiler.
  3. Once melted, mix the chocolate into the cream cheese mixture along with the instant coffee and powdered sugar (or erythritol).
  4. Thoroughly blend until all ingredients are combined.
  5. Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Once firm, scoop out small portions and roll them into balls.
  7. Roll the truffles in cocoa powder, crushed nuts, or more powdered sugar if desired.
  8. Place the truffles in the fridge to set completely before serving.

Notes

Store truffles in an airtight container. They last up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator and can be frozen for up to 3 months.
