- 1 cup Pumpkin puree, canned
- 3 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Caramel sauce, homemade or store-bought
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 cup Heavy cream or whipped topping
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 2 tbsp Powdered sugar
- 1 tsp Pumpkin pie spice
- 1 box Spice cake mix
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup Graham crackers or vanilla wafer crumbs
- 3/4 cup Butter
- 16 oz Cream cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the spice cake mix instructions.
- Prepare the cake mix as directed on the package.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add pumpkin puree, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture and mix well.
- Pour the prepared spice cake mix into a greased baking pan.
- Layer the pumpkin cream cheese mixture over the top.
- Bake according to the time suggested on the cake mix box or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool completely, then top with whipped cream and melted butter mixed with graham cracker crumbs.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
Serve chilled or at room temperature; best enjoyed with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
