- 1/2 cup Pineapple jam or preserves
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Sweetened coconut
- 1 cup Unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish to prevent sticking.
- Cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Gradually add the flour and stir until combined.
- Stir in the sweetened coconut and pineapple jam until evenly distributed.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
