Description

Ingredients

  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 3/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Caramel chips
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt, flaky
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Butter, unsalted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda, and set aside.
  3. Cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy in a larger bowl.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  6. Gently fold in the caramel and chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared dish, spreading evenly.
  8. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before baking.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

For a delightful presentation, cut the bars while still warm and serve with vanilla ice cream.
