- 2 large Eggs
- 2 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 3/4 cup Brown sugar
- 1 cup Caramel chips
- 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Sea salt, flaky
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Butter, unsalted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda, and set aside.
- Cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy in a larger bowl.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Gently fold in the caramel and chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared dish, spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before baking.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
For a delightful presentation, cut the bars while still warm and serve with vanilla ice cream.
