Description

Delightful, chewy cookies made with egg whites and rich chocolate that require no baking in the traditional sense.


Ingredients

  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chocolate shavings or sprinkles
  • Whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat until the mixture is glossy.
  4. Fold in the salt, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract gently.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool.
  8. Once cooled, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings or sprinkles.

Notes

For best flavor, serve at room temperature, ideally with a warm cup of coffee or hot chocolate.
