- 2 large egg whites
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Chocolate shavings or sprinkles
- Whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat until the mixture is glossy.
- Fold in the salt, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract gently.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cookie mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool.
- Once cooled, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings or sprinkles.
Notes
For best flavor, serve at room temperature, ideally with a warm cup of coffee or hot chocolate.
