Description

Delightful homemade truffles blending rich dark chocolate with refreshing orange zest, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tsp Orange peel
  • 1/3 cup Chocolate sprinkles
  • 200 g Cooking chocolate, dark
  • 90 ml heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just starts to simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add the dark cooking chocolate, stirring until melted and smooth.
  3. Mix in the orange peel.
  4. Let the mixture cool and then refrigerate for about an hour until firm.
  5. Once set, use a spoon to scoop out portions and roll them into balls.
  6. Roll each truffle in chocolate sprinkles to coat.
  7. Place the truffles on a tray and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. For longer storage, freeze for up to three months.
