Description

Delicious Crispy Chicken Taquitos filled with savory chicken and spices, perfect for family gatherings or parties.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked Chicken
  • 1/4 cup Salsa (mild or spicy)
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups Cilantro, chopped
  • 4 oz Cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 8 small flour or corn tortillas
  • Cooking spray or oil
  • Guacamole for serving
  • Sour cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) or set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cilantro, garlic powder, salsa, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Spread a layer of cream cheese and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese on each tortilla.
  4. Place a generous amount of the chicken mixture in the center of each tortilla.
  5. Roll the tortillas tightly and secure with a toothpick if necessary.
  6. Place the taquitos seam-side down on a baking sheet and spray or brush with cooking spray or oil.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or air fry for 10-15 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve warm with guacamole and sour cream on the side.

Notes

Allow to cool before storing. Can be frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven for best results.
