Delicious, crunchy salmon bites served with a creamy Bang Bang sauce. Perfect for family gatherings or quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound salmon fillets
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Bang Bang sauce (1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce, 1 tablespoon sriracha, juice of 1 lime)
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Cut salmon into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each salmon piece first in flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs.
  5. Carefully fry the salmon bites in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Cook rice according to package instructions.
  7. To serve warm, place rice in a bowl, add salmon bites on top, and drizzle with Bang Bang sauce.
  8. Garnish with green onions if desired.
  9. For a cold option, allow to cool and serve as a poke bowl.

Notes

Use cold salmon for better texture. Don’t overcrowd the pan when frying for the crispiest bites.
