- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan well.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Alternately add the flour mixture and buttermilk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with flour. Mix until just combined.
- Mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared Bundt pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Swirl the batter gently with a knife to create a marble effect.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients and avoid overmixing the batter.
