  • 1 cup Butter, unsalted
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, brown sugar, cinnamon, granulated sugar, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, buttermilk, and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. While the bars are cooling, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk together until smooth.
  8. Once the bars are cooled, frost them with the cream cheese mixture.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.
