- 4 large Eggs
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 cup unsweetened Cocoa powder
- 2 cups Granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
- Red, green, and white candy melts
- Mini candy bows or holiday sprinkles (optional but festive)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the cocoa powder until smooth.
- Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool, then cut into squares.
- Decorate each brownie to look like a present using the candy melts and sprinkles.
