Ingredients

  • Christmas sprinkles
  • 1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
  • Pink food coloring
  • 4 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups Butter, salted
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • Milk or heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the salted butter, granulated sugar, and cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and cake batter flavoring.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture.
  5. Add pink food coloring until you achieve the desired color.
  6. Fold in the Christmas sprinkles.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until set.
  9. Let cool and then frost with a mixture of powdered sugar and a splash of milk or heavy cream.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature butter and cream cheese. Don’t overmix the dough to maintain a soft texture.
