Description

A delightful blend of sweet and salty that brings warmth and joy to any gathering with these easy-to-make cookies.


Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 22 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup Chocolate chips
  • 1 Flaky sea salt
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 9 Saltine crackers
  • 22 tbsp Butter, salted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until combined.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. In a large bowl, mix together the eggs, vanilla, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the cooled butter mixture to the egg mixture, stirring until combined.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and granulated sugar.
  7. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  8. Fold in chocolate chips and crushed saltine crackers.
  9. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top of each cookie.
  11. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

For extra chewiness, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
