- 1 lb Ground beef
- 2 tbsp Cilantro
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 Jalapeno, diced
- 1 cup Lettuce, shredded
- 1 small Onion, diced
- 1/4 cup Red onion, diced
- 1/2 cup Tomatoes, diced
- 1 Guacamole
- 1 Hot sauce
- 2/3 cup Tomato sauce or salsa
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 packet Taco seasoning
- 8 Taco shells, hard
- 2 cups Cheese, shredded
- 1 Sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning, garlic, jalapeño, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon the beef mixture into taco shells and top with cheese.
- Place the taco shells in a baking dish and bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and shells are crispy.
- Prepare toppings: chop lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and prepare guacamole and hot sauce.
- Serve hot with sour cream and hot sauce on the side.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, replace ground beef with black beans or sautéed vegetables. Customize toppings to suit individual tastes.
