Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Cilantro
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 Jalapeno, diced
  • 1 cup Lettuce, shredded
  • 1 small Onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup Red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup Tomatoes, diced
  • 1 Guacamole
  • 1 Hot sauce
  • 2/3 cup Tomato sauce or salsa
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning
  • 8 Taco shells, hard
  • 2 cups Cheese, shredded
  • 1 Sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  3. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning, garlic, jalapeño, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spoon the beef mixture into taco shells and top with cheese.
  5. Place the taco shells in a baking dish and bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and shells are crispy.
  6. Prepare toppings: chop lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and prepare guacamole and hot sauce.
  7. Serve hot with sour cream and hot sauce on the side.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, replace ground beef with black beans or sautéed vegetables. Customize toppings to suit individual tastes.
