Ingredients

- 3 large eggs
- 1 jar caramel sauce
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup pecans
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the yellow cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake according to the package instructions until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once baked, allow the cake to cool slightly.
- Poke holes in the top of the cake using the end of a wooden spoon.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce. Bring to a simmer and stir for about 2 minutes.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the warm cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
- Sprinkle pecans on top and let the cake cool completely before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
