Ingredients

- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 pint grape or cherry tomatoes
- 12 oz pasta
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls
Instructions
- Cook the pasta until al dente according to package directions. Drain and let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta with fresh mozzarella balls, grape or cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil leaves.
- Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Toss gently to combine all ingredients.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
For added crunch, consider adding toasted pine nuts. Best served chilled after refrigerating for about 30 minutes before serving.
