- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 5/16 cup white sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 12 soft caramel candies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the caramel candies gently.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding nuts or chocolate chips to the dough.
