- 6 slices Bacon
- 6 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries
- 1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
- 3/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it and set aside.
- In the same bowl, combine broccoli florets, raisins, finely chopped red onion, and sunflower seeds.
- In a separate bowl, mix together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, black pepper, and salt to create the dressing.
- Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss until well coated.
- Add in the crumbled bacon and cheddar cheese, mixing gently.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
